Congregant Stories

  • Nagwa Mansour
    • St Mina is her patron saint. When she was young, her sister loved St Mina, but she didn’t know who he was. (Remember, St Mina was not really popularized until the time of HH Pope Kyrillos and after his departure). She asked her sister to show her a picture of St Mina. That night, she had a dream that she was in the desert and she fell - a soldier came to her and lifted her up and took her to the church. The next day, her sister brought her a picture of St Mina - it was the soldier from her dream.

  • Vivian Botros (Mother of Emanuel Botros)
    • St Mina appeared to her grandmother and wrote his name on the wall. She is photographed with the writing on the wall.
